Connecting with industrial metrology, CVR can supply:

• technical services including measurements, tests, inspection and testing of components and products available also in situ,

• functional measurements and processes parameters control through suitable methodology and standard procedures, fundamentals for controlling of product quality and processes

• Geometric Product Specification (GPS) to determine dimensional tolerances, geometric and surface conditions of the industrial product, thus assessing the functional requirements and the allowable deviation between the theoretical model and the real product. 

Furthermore the CVR uses both contact (coordinates measure equipments) and non contact (laser and optical technologies) instruments in order to acquire shape and geometry of the massive product and its surface (prototypes, models, etc.). The data processing stage evolves in the Reverse Engineering of the components through 3-D CAD modeling for the component reconstruction, thus creating geometric precise models to be used in CAD/CAM environment.
