Venice Research Consortium
has developed diverse water management projects, such as:
- different types of surveys and environmental
monitoring, for instance a project concerning the collection of data on storm
water runoff and first and second flush water quality evaluation
- assessment of water treatment plants and management
systems in order to identify the most suitable operational strategies and
technologies able to return good quality water that can thus be reused or
released into environmental water receptors
- evaluation of the impacts caused by the application
of water remediation technologies through the estimation of the possible future
uses of the reclaimed water and the analysis of the consequences of
rehabilitation operations on environmental compartments
- pre-feasibility studies on management and technical
solutions for solving issues concerning contaminated catchment basins,
evaluation of treatment technologies applicable to waste water and evaluation
and analysis of the technical and economical peculiarity of the solutions proposed
through the development of lab tests for estimating the real performance and
effectiveness of the solutions proposed
